From the Archives: “Harrisville Weavings: A Verbatim Project” is a play depicting scenes from Harrisville’s history performed by the Harrisville Players in association with Tricinium, Ltd. performed in Harrisville in 2001.

These stories of the “Women of Harrisville” were collected for an exhibit in the Harrisville General Store in honor of Women’s History Month in March, 2025. Additional stories were added for a presentation at the April, 2025 Annual Meeting of Historic Harrisville Inc.

On Sunday, January 27, 2013, Rick Monahon and his wife, Duffy, were killed in a tragic automobile accident in Hillsborough, NH, as they were returning from a day of skiing at Mount Sunapee.
