Abner S. Hutchinson married Mary, the seventh child of Bethuel and Deborah Harris, and he joined the Harris family as a partner in the mills. His 1 ½-story red brick cape is similar to the C.C. P. Harris house next door and also backs onto Harrisville Pond. Just beyond it is the entrance to Island Cemetery where Harris gravestones stand in testament to the town's founding family. Privately owned.
