Milan Harris House, 1833<<Prev. Next>>![]() Although his house is similar in essentials to the Cyrus Harris house built five years earlier, Milan Harris added further refinements characteristic of Greek Revival architecture. The 2 ½-story, red brick, gable-roofed house has narrow soapstone lintels and sills and a front entrance with a segmented brick arch and transom fan. A Victorian five-sided bay addition was later added to the projecting side entrance. Behind the house, an ell and attached barn extend the length of the house along Prospect Street. Privately owned. |
