Harris Storehouse, 1832<<Prev. Next>>![]() The Harris Storehouse was built as a support structure for the Harris Mill. This 2 ½-story gable-roofed red brick structure, which sits on a granite rubble platform over the mill pond/canal, has a large number of windows that make it atypical as a storehouse. But it has served the town in various other ways, at least once as a general store. And its presence at the very center of the mill village contributes to the harmonious cluster of 19th-century structures. Owned by Historic Harrisville. |
