VIRTUAL TOUR

Audio Walking Tour

For a first-hand experience of Harrisville's rich history and architecture, you can take an audio walking tour, strolling through the village at your leisure, and visiting those sites that most interest you. The tour includes 26 sites, and is divided into 3 loops, each taking about 20 minutes to navigate. The narration by Pamela White provides a wealth of information that will greatly enhance your understanding of village life.

Use Your Own MP3 Player
You can download the audio tour and map for use with your personal MP3 player:

  • Download this .zip file of MP3 files to your computer. Then, unzip the MP3 files and transfer them to your player. There are 27 tracks, one for each site, plus an Introduction.
  • Each digital audio player will have specific instructions for transferring files from your computer to the player. If you are using an Apple iPod or iTouch, you will need to add the MP3 downloaded here to the iTunes library, then connect your iPod to transfer the file. For other audio players, please consult the manufacturer's instructions.
